Kebutuhan zat besi pada saat kehamilan meningkat.Beberapa literature mengatakan kebutuhan zat besi meningkat dua kali lipat dari kebutuhan sebelum hamil.Hal ini terjadi karena selama hamil, volume darah meningkat 50%, sehingga perlu lebihbanyak zat besi untuk membentuk hemoglobin.
Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan secara purposive sampling. Analisis menggunakan uji statistic Chi-Square dengan batas kemaknaan α
= 0,05. Lokasi penelitian di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pematang kandis bulan 8 – 15 maret 2022.
Hasil analisis penelitian di atas diperoleh data nilai sig adalah 0, 025.. Hasil uji statistic chi square dari 45 responden diperoleh nilai p value = 0,025 (p<0,05), berarti terdapat hubungan antara kepatuhan dan pola konsumsi tablet FE dengan kejadian anemia.
Diharapkan semoga penelitian ini bisa menjadi bahan acuan untuk penanggulangan masalah anemia dengan patuh terhadap pola konsumsi tablet FE yang benar.

The need for iron during pregnancy increases. Some literature says the need for iron doubles from the need before pregnancy. This happens because during pregnancy, blood volume increases by 50%, so it needs more iron to form hemoglobin.
Sampling in this study was carried out by purposive sampling. The analysis used the Chi-Square statistical test with a significance limit of = 0.05. The research location is in the working area of Pematang Kandis Public Health Center, March 8- 15, 2022.
The results of the analysis above showed that the sig value data was 0.025. The results of the chi square statistical test from 45 respondents obtained a p value =
0.025 (p <0.05), meaning that there was a relationship between adherence and consumption patterns of FE tablets with the incidence of anemia. .
It is hoped that this research can be a reference material for overcoming the problem of anemia by adhering to the correct consumption pattern of FE tablets.
