EFEKTIFITAS PEMBERIAN REBUSAN DAUN KATUK (SAUROPUS ANDROGYNUS) TERHADAP PRODUKSI ASI PADA IBU POST PARTUM DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS SIULAK MUKAI KABUPATEN KERINCI TAHUN 2021

Menyusui adalah hadiah sangat berharga yang dapat diberikan oleh seorang ibu pada bayinya. Menurut World Health Organization (WHO) menganjurkan agar wanita hamil dan ibu yang post partum diberi tahu tentang manfaat dan keunggulan Air Susu Ibu (ASI), terutama karena ASI memberikan gizi terbaik untuk bayi serta perlindungan terhadap penyakit. Menurut renstra tahun 2016 secara nasional target pemberian ASI ekslusif 80% belum mencapai target. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui efektifitas pemberian simplisia daun katuk terhadap produksi ASI pada ibu post partum di wilayah kerja puskesmas siulak mukai kabupaten kerinci tahun 2021. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pre Experiment dengan rancangan One Group pretest postest. Tehnik pengambilan sampel non probability sampling terhadap 12 orang ibu post partum di wilayah kerja puskesmas siulak mukai pada bulan juli sampai Agustus tahun 2021 dengan pemberian rebusan daun katuk dimakan 2 kali sehari selama 15 hari. Analisa data dengan menggunakan uji Paired Samples T-Test. Hasil penelitian didapatkan rerata Produksi ASI pre test pada ibu post partum adalah 691 ml. Rerata produksi ASI post test pada ibu post partum adalah 1166 ml. Perbedaan rerata produksi ASI pre test dan post test pemberian rebusan daun katuk (Sauropus androgynus) pada ibu post partum adalah 475 ml. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh pemberian rebusan daun katuk (Sauropus Androgynus) terhadap produksi ASI pada ibu post partum Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Siulak Mukai Kabupaten Kerinci Tahun 2021. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif terapi non farmakologi untuk meningkatkan produksi ASI dan juga dijadikan sebagai dasar menambah literatur kebidanan untuk peneliti selanjutnya agar tercapai cakupan pemberian ASI eksklusif

Breastfeeding is a very precious gift that a mother can give to her baby. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) it is recommended that pregnant women and postpartum mothers be informed about the benefits and advantages of breastfeeding, especially because breast milk provides the best nutrition for babies and protects against disease. According to the 2016 strategic plan, the national target for exclusive breastfeeding has not yet reached the target of 80%. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of giving katuk leaf simplicia on breast milk production in post partum mothers in the working area of the Siulakmukai Public Health Center, Kerinci Regency in 2021. This type of research was a pre-experiment with a One Group pretest posttest design. The sampling technique was non-probability sampling for 12 postpartum mothers in the working area of the Siulakmukai Public Health Center in July to August 2021 by giving katuk leaf decoction eaten 2 times a day for 15 days. Data analysis using Paired Samples T-Test. The results showed that the average pre-test breast milk production for post partum mothers was 691 ml. The average post-test milk production in post partum mothers is 1166 ml. The difference in the mean of pre-test and post-test milk production by giving decoction of katuk leaves (Sauropus androgynus) in post partum mothers was 475 ml. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an effect of giving decoction of katuk leaves (Sauropus Androgynus) on breast milk production in post partum mothers in the Work Area of the Siulak Mukai Health Center, Kerinci Regency in 2021. It is hoped that this research can be used as an alternative non-pharmacological therapy to increase breast milk production. and also serve as the basis for adding to the midwifery literature for further researchers in order to achieve coverage of exclusive breastfeeding
