KTI HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP IBU TENTANG IMUNISASI DPT BOOSTER PADA BALITA USIA 18-24 BULAN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS RAWASARI KOTA JAMBI TAHUN 2021

Imunisasi DPT dapat mencegah penyakit difteri,pertusis dan tetanus.Difteri menyebabkan saluran pernapasan atas yang dalam beberapa kasus dapat menyebabkan kekakuan otot dan kekejangan otot yang menyakitkan dan dapat mengakibatkan kematian.Namun pada kenyataannya, cakupan imunisasi DPT Booster ini menurut Dinas Kesehatan Kota Jambi mengalami penurunan.Maka dari itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat apakah ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap ibu terhadap pemberian imunisasi DPT Booster pada balita.
Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian analitik deskriptif dengan uji chi-square untuk melihat hubungan antara variabel independent terhadap variabel dependent dengan melibatkan 10 responden yang dipilih secara acak.
Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan pengetahuan ibu terhadap pemberian imunisasi DPT Booster dengan p value 0,033 (p<0,05), dan adanya hubungan sikap ibu terhadap pemberian imunisasi DPT Booster dengan p value 0,033 (p<0,05).
Disarankan kepada petugas tenaga kesehatan untuk berperan aktif dalam memberikan edukasi kepada ibu tentang pentingnya imunisasi DPT Booster, dan untuk ibu agar meningkatkan kesadarannya mengenai pemberian imunisasi DPT Booster.

ABSTRACT (BAHASA INGGRIS)

DPT immunization can prevent diphtheria, pertussis and tetanus. Diphtheria causes the upper respiratory tract which in some cases can cause muscle stiffness and painful muscle spasms and can result in death. However, according to the Jambi City Health Office, the coverage of DPT Booster immunization has decreased. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to see whether there was a relationship between mother's knowledge and attitudes towards giving DPT Booster immunization to toddlers.
This study uses a descriptive analytical research design with chi-square test to see the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable involving 10 randomly selected respondents.
The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between mother's knowledge of giving DPT Booster immunization with p value 0.033 (p < 0.05), and there is a relationship between mother's attitude towards giving DPT Booster immunization with p value 0.033 (p < 0.05).
It is recommended for health workers to play an active role in educating mothers about the importance of DPT Booster immunization, and for mothers to increase their awareness about giving DPT Booster immunization.
